Mercury Bay 'Dusk til Dawn' - Photography Exhibition

Date: 1st to 31st October 2019, 9am to 3pm
Venue: French Fig Cafe

Back in August this year Whitianga Camera Club had its inaugural exhibition at Lotus Realm, Thames.  The theme was ‘Dusk to Dawn’.  Thanks to Mercury 250 Anniversary Trust, and as part of the Tuia 250 commemoration, some of the photos from that exhibition are on display in the back area of the French Fig Café

In addition, we also have a rolling display of photographs on one of the TV screens in the foyer of Mercury Bay Twin Cinemas

We are celebrating our beautiful Mercury Bay area, a coming together of people and, in particular, astrophotography representing the important role of navigation by the stars that enabled the first peoples to travel to Aotearoa.

Many thanks to Bev Calder for displaying our work in her café, and to Glen and Gisella for screening our work in the foyer of their cinema.”
